Log off website?

I opened my email and found a notification that my fido bill was ready. I clicked the link and it brought me to the website, where I had to log in. So far, so good. I downloaded my bill. I looked at the offer the site was telling me about. I looked at my payment history and now I would like to log out. I cannot find anywhere to log out. I tried closing all the tabs except this one. When I typed in Fido's URL, I was still logged in.

 

OTOH, if I come here, Do I really have to come to the community forum to sign out?

Hello Lisdotter,

 

Welcome to the community!

 

  I believe the procedure to log-out from Fido.ca would be similar to that from the community. Clicking on your username (top right) should provide a drop-down menu with different options:

  The option to Sign out should also be listed (orange arrow). Is that option not available for you when you are logged onto the website?

Thanks but, I don't see see my username, or an icon representing it, when I am ont he main part of the website. I see that here. I tried all the pull down menus and didn't find it.

  Thank you for the additional information. Hmm, that appears to possibly be an older version of their website. Have you tried to click on the three lines at the top right of the page?

Of course I have tried clicking the the three stacked lines. I tried clicking everything. I have been with Fido since December of 2000 and I don't remember ever having this problem before.

  Fair enough. Unfortunately, I can't seem to replicate your issue. Even accessing My Account via an email bill notification, I still arrive at the same page I screen captured...

Thanks for all the effort. If I really need to log out, I can head over here to the community forum and log out. It just seems odd.

@Lisdotter, it appears you are on a mobile device, and your browser is set to desktop mode if you click on the three lines you should see your username/email address if you tap there it should have a drop down arrow and then you should see the option to signout.

Nope, I'm using my laptop. I haven't accessed anything from Fido on a mobile device since they did something to the app and it broke. That was a number of years ago.
