If your plan includes International text messaging, that would include messages sent to Colombia. You should note that while many older plans included US and International text messaging, newer plans do not include outgoing International messaging. In addition, if you send the messages while outside of Canada, that would be considered roaming and charged accordingly.

I must apologise for my inaccurate post above. When I checked Fido.ca regarding the plans' texting information, I unfortunately, only checked the first plan listed and not the others and assumed Fido changed the plans. While most of the plans do, in fact, include International texting, the plans without Talk do not include International texting. Sorry for any confusion.
