  As Kapable-K has already noted, your plan can generally remain the same when changing phone numbers.

  However, there is a possible exception to that situation. If you are changing your phone number to one in a different Province, you may need to also change the plan as well. Many plans are Province-specific and will only be applicable to in-Province phone numbers. A change to a phone number in a different Province may likely require a plan from that Province. If your current plan is not available in that new Province, you would need to change your plan to one which is available in that Province.
