Hotspot feature at an extra cost?

I just added a second line to my Fido account.   My main is just a text/talk for $20 for my mom but I'm thinking of cutting costs and came backto Fido with their new $34/60GB promo only to learn hotspot is not a feature included.   Someone on Reddit says it's an added cost.  Does anyone know if this is a unversal cost and if so, how much?   I've been with Bell for the last 3 years and it never occurred to me this would be an added feature.

Yes, I can confirm that there is now a $5 charge that applies to use the hotspot feature.
