Do you know if this is an official Fido communication, or a scam?
Recently I cancelled my Fido phone plan.
Just got a call from 1-833-378-3060 claiming they are a Fido agent trying to win me back and offered a good deal.
When I agreed to the deal, the person requested 2 pieces of ID.
I asked if I can continue this conversation by calling Fido myself to verify the person is legitimately from Fido, and the person responded multiple times when I asked that I cannot get this deal from Fido because it's a special winback program that is not available if I reach out on my side.
They had a decent bit of info on me, and timing it right, however I'm sure people dedicated can piece such info together online themselves.
