Changing plans after contract is done.

Does changing your plan when your 2 year contract is done lock you in for another 2 years or does it just switch plans?

Hey @Purpleschnauser ,

Cute username! Love it!

Changing your plan once your contract is over will not lock you in for another 2 years. You would only be in a 2 year contract if you were to take a new device with a 2 year agreement. Changing your plan won't affect your agreement once it's over!

Let me know if you have other questions.

Thank you so much! I figured but couldn't find anything saying so. I'm on a really old plan.

Re: Changing plans after contract is done.

you have options:

1: resign new 2 year contract if you are getting an new phone

2: pick your own plan no terms, and get your new phone (option) from an retailer (no contract or financing)

3: pick any plan you want, keep existing phone, no terms.

Re: Changing plans after contract is done.

step 1: change plans (cheaper or more expensive) month to month {and get new phone off contract}

step 2: u can either resign 2 years to get an new phone
