Changed to a worse plan because of customer service staff’s mistake

I called customer service today and the representative told me I could change to a plan that was 30GB for $34, which was $6 lower than my plan at that time. I clearly remember I double checked with her about the price. However I received an confirmation email and it showed $54 on it. I cannot imagine paying a $8 switching fee for a worse plan. I cannot imagine paying more because I called customer service.

There may be something that you aren't seeing on the confirmation, you definitely wouldn't pay more because you reached out. You're welcome to contact us so we can double check, though the price wouldn't show the ''after discount'' price if you do have one applied.
