Cellular plan for smartwatch

Is there any update if Fido supports cellular watches yet? Last post I saw was from 2023. I don't understand why they wouldn't make this available, there are so many other flanker providers that offer this now. It's a $10 add on service, I wouldn't call that premium if it's optional.

I spoke to a pretty knowledgeable Rogers rep about a month ago about this subject and his quote was, "it's never going to happen."  I figure it's an intentional decision by Rogers to try and push customers towards their main brand.  I've been with Fido for 16 years and if I decide to leave, it's going to be because of their stance on this issue.

   Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We would not have any prior information regarding services which have not yet been mentioned on the website. 

 

  Currently, I have not come across any mention of smartwatches or their plans on Fido.ca. In addition, they do not appear to be listed as a supported carrier for Apple Watches (see here). As well, as far as I am aware, Rogers still has not yet been able to offer number sharing with BYOW plans. Number sharing, so far, has only been available on watches they sell. 

 

  Unfortunately, we would not know if, or when, Fido might offer smartwatch plans. Any updates would be announced on Fido.ca
