Cannot purchase or upgrade phone online

Hi,

 

I'm trying to upgrade/purchase a new phone the past few days through your site but whenever I get to the "https://www.fido.ca/hup/#/choose-phone" page I get the following error: 

 

We're sorry, this information is currently not available online. If you need help with your account, please call 1-888-481-FIDO (3436)

 

I've gone through numerous similar threads already and I've tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge), clearing my cache and cookies, and closing and reopening new instances of each browser, and nothing works. With the number of reports over the past year I'm surprised I am still encountering this issue, can we get an actual solution posted here so future customers won't have to repost this?

How did you manage to change your plan?

Called a rep and they were very helpful with fixing my stupid mistake. The problem was I was on a BYOP plan, I just had to change my plan first and then I was able to browse and upgrade my phone. Hopefully this helps someone else out 😛
