When my 2 year contract is up I'll likely leave Fido, due to the pack of customer service & lay offs of customer service agents since it's all self service now ..won't bother with Koodo because they are the same as Fido....so can anyone recommend a mobile provider out there that actually has customer service that is more reliable than Fido & is not self serve?

Although Fido has transitioned to a self-serve, we make sure to make transitions as easy as possible for our customers.
You can still reach out to an agent via call, by requesting for a callback.

Sorry you didn't answer my question about me returning my device when I got the callback and the agent was going to email me a return waybill and I never received it....so now I'm stuck with this device that I wanted to return as it's too late to return it....so the agent never did email the return waybill to me....it's not even in my spam folders....so yes stuck with a device because of the mistake of the agent

Once you speak to customer service and explain the situation (and that you had requested the return within the timeframe of the Satisfaction Guarantee), they could look into a possible exception for you.

Good morning @Ash333 , I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way. Business models have changed over the years and if one company doesn't meet your needs, then a search for one that does is understandable. As this is a Fido community forum, I don't know if any of us can answer that question for you. There are ways to research other providers to compare and decide if they meet your needs. You can Google mobile providers in Canada to compare. Sorry you're leaving fido and good luck on your quest
