I purchased a new FIDo connection from a store and have been charged 50 cad as the activation fees. I could have purchased it online as well but the only option I was getting to do it was through the store. Please let me know if there was no option of online activation why have I been charged this amount

The activation fee is a non-negotiable fee agreed upon when signing your terms of use and service conditions agreement. We do currently have a promotion wherein activations via our our website are credited the activation fee, however, this promotion does not apply to activations completed in store.
