I'm having an issue signing into my internet, because of 2 problems. 1.) There's a problem with my wireless adapter or access point. 2.) My "Wi-fi" doesn't have a valid IP configuration.
At least thus is what the trouble shooter on my laptop is telling me. Can someone please tell me what i can do to fix this issue.

Did you try restarting the modem?
Try connecting the laptop directly to the modem through the ethernet port.
