Going underground? Want to save your data? No worries, you can still have your awesome playlist on repeat. That’s right; take your tracks offline with Spotify Premium!
All you need to do is follow these simple steps:
1. Save your favourite songs by tapping on the + sign or follow your favourite playlists
2. Slide the toggle to download them.
To be sure that you are listening in Offline mode:
1. From "Your Library", tap the settings icon on the top right.
2. Under Playback, you can enable Offline mode.
Now you have access to the songs & playlists you have downloaded!
So, are you enjoying it so far? We sure are!
This is all very good in theory but doesn't work in practice!
Over time I'm randomly losing tracks I have downloaded and need to re-download them. After multiple emails with Spotify about this, they've disowned the problem and are blaming the phone manufacturer. The phone manufacturer only suggested a factory reset of the phone which didn't solve it. So I'm stuck with a Pulse plan which doesn't really work and nobody is going to do anything to fix it.
Yea I see a lot of complains about that, what phone do you use?
Welcome to the Community!
Does the same thing happen with any tracks that you have downloaded on any other devices?
Let us know!
I'm only using Spotify on my mobile; I'm not using it on any other devices or my PC.
Unfortunately I don't see a fix or an explanation why it happens and it looks like the problem has been happening for years.
Does this only happen with certain songs or all your downloaded music?
One thing you can try, to rule out your phone as the cause, would be to test out the app on another device.
Is there any way you can give it a try on a laptop or desktop to see if you notice the same issue?
How often does this seem to happen?
