Do I need to give Fido advance notice that I am switching providers at the ebd ofmy contract with fido?

Hello @emy22,

 

If you will be porting your number to the new provider all you need to do is give the required information to the new provider and they will port your number over once the port is successful the Fido account will automatically be cancelled.

 

You just need to keep the Fido account active and in good standing before you port it.
