when does my new plan start?

Hi,

I switched to the new 5Gb (plus 5Gb, I hope, I do not see it on my account yet...) yesterday and I would like to know when this new usage starts? My account says it is 8 days left to the new cycle. Does it mean after this new plan kicks in - I am still on my old 500Mb? Or can I already use those 10Gb?

updated to the new 10gb plan yesterday , and the rep said that the plan would take affect at 12am last night, but it is not showing in MYaccount,

Anyone from Fido care to answer?

 

I am not sure when I can start using my data. My partner's number is already showing this new usage (we have connected accounts), and there is no information for my phone.

 

Can I already use it and not worry about overusing the data, or should I wait, and how long should I wait?

 

I've seen few people reporting overusage messages, I definitely would not like to get a similar one, but also, as I paid for the new plan, I would like to be able to actually use it. 

 

 The live chat is still unavailable, so no response there. Could you please respond here?

Hey everyone, 

 

When you change your plan, it starts at your next billing cycle. So if, for example, your cycle ends on the 4th, your new plan will start on the 5th.

So, now I am completely confused. In another thread you said that if we switched with Fido representative's help - new plan starts immediatelly. I am attaching screen shot:

Well I can say that my original plan cycle started on the 17th. I switched my plan to the 10gb  $60 one online over My Account on the 18th. And it showed up on my account within the hour and already started showing my usage from the 5gb. I had also called a CSR yesterday to confirm some details of the plan and he never said that it would start next cycle, but to just be careful with my data usage since I wasn't able to view it online at the time.

I have two phones under my account, one is already counting the data, the other - nope, just the information that I have a new plan and information about the usage is not available. Pretty irritating...

I changed on Monday, at the Fido store. They said it will apply instantly, and then I had live chat and person there confirmed it should be already working, just without showing me how much data I used. So I am confused, and also annoyed - as I am already paying for the service and not sure if I can use it.
