We can add a temporary suspension on your line at the beginning of a new cycle for a period of 2 to 12 months at a fee of $30/month if the lines has been active with us for a minimum of 1 month and if you are not currently under a contract.

*** Update October 29, 2019 - Great news everyone, the temporary suspension is now $7/month!

The temporary suspension is $7 a month and can be added if you don't have an agreement. Since it's only possible to add the suspension once every 12 months, I would suggest adding it for a longer period. If ever your wife comes back to the country before the suspension expires, she can simply contact us to remove it and she'll be able to access her services right away.

I have 3 lines in one account and i just called fido today to suspend one of my lines for atleast 3months but it is under a contract coz my daughter who is using that line was out of the country starting today. I was just confused because the representative whom i spoke today said it’s okay to suspend that line even if is in a cotract and it was in the middle of my billing cycle. So she did the suspension and i just got the confirmation via email but i would like to know if this is right because i don’t like to be charge for additiona fee or payment with this matter.
