service set up fee FRAUD

I just got 2 accounts in Fido last Jan 11. I was told in-store that I wouldn't pay for service set-up fee and STILL IT APPEARS ON MY BILL.

Welcome to the community!

 

Having extra unwanted charges are never good since you did the transaction in-store I would advise you to go back to the store and speak to the person or manager.

 

The $35 service is always charged unless you process a transaction through self-serve on fido.ca, sometimes they have promotions in store where they waive the $35 fee usually it gets charged and then credited back on your 2nd or 3rd bill.

 

You should go to the store and have it sorted.
