Hi providing you have the North American version yes it will work it has all the bands and frequencies for Fido's LTE network.

Fido requires these

GSM ~ EDGE (2G) ~ on band 5 (850MHz) and/or band 2 (1900MHz)
UMTS or WCDMA ~ HSPA (3G) / HSPA+ (4G) ~ on band 5 (850 MHz) and/or band 2 (1900 MHz).

To access LTE network, the phone must be compatible with:
Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz) and/or
Band 7 (2600 MHz) and/or
Band 17 (700 MHz)

You can get the full details for the OnePlus 3 here.
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 17(700) - North America

Hello Ts69,

  Welcome to the community!

If you were looking at one of the other versions of that phone, they both (Europe/Asia and China) would only have one compatible band/frequency, band 7 or 2600 MHz. While those versions should work on the LTE network, coverage would depend on the bands/frequencies of the surrounding towers. You can get an idea of the bands/frequencies supported by your surrounding towers here.

All three versions of that phone would have all of the compatible bands/frequencies for 2G and '3G'.

To add to compatible bands/frequencies listed above, Fido/Rogers now also uses band 12 (700 MHz) in some provinces. You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here.

Hope this helps Smiley

Cheers
