iPhone X

I was told by customer service that Fido does not plan on carrying the iPhone x because internal research shows that there wouldn't be enough demand. This is a joke right?...

Hey everyone!

 

It’s official: There will be an opportunity for Fido customers to reserve iPhone X for in-store pick-up starting on Nov. 1. Fido customers will be able to reserve iPhone X through our reservation system and pick their device up in-store when it is ready for collection.

 

Customers can also purchase the device from one of our partners like Best Buy or Apple.

 

Our customers expressed strong interest in the device and we’re delighted to now be carrying it Smiley

Just called the customer service and they said they don't have any information. What is getting on my nerves is that today it's pre-ordered. If they open ordered at Fido on the 3rd and in the meanwhile all other companies send pre-orders to Apple, we'll be the last served and maybe we could receive our new IPhone after Christmas because of a big demand... just because Fido didn't see the demand coming, so it's us customers who have to pay. If this afternoon I don't see anything official on their Website about the IPhone X, I cancel everything and I go to Videotron, Rogers or Telus, so anyone else who offers the Iphone X in pre-command today!

If Fido is not going to offer the iPhone X then I will have to consider leaving Fido. I have been very happy with my fido phones and service for 7 or 8 years now and hate to leave but if I can't pick the phone I want then I can't stay. Sorry Fido!

I will guess fido doesnt care.  They offer cheap plans and dont care what phone you bring to the party. 

They arent selling a note 8 either.  They know the majority of thier customers wont spend 800 plus tax on a phone ...subsidized.
