  Just to clarify, to which messages do you refer? Text messages or voice messages?

  If you're referring to text messages, then no, I do not believe you can check those from another phone. On the other hand, if you're referring to voice messages, you should be able to access them from a different phone:

• Call your own Fido phone number.
• Press the "#" key during your greeting message.
• Enter your access code when prompted.
• Follow the instructions to listen to your messages

If you were referring to checking text message from a computer, it’s not a service offered by Fido.
