Wondering If Fido Honors its existing Customers

I have been with fido since 2012. I got calls from their sales department regarding special offers/promotions, but I do not find any offers for the existing customers. All the offers mean to have new activation or purchasing another new product. My wife also uses Fido since 2013. We are just wondering if Fido offers any discounts to their existing customers on their current plans?

Getting a discount on your existing line is slim to none especially if you are on a contract or have a grandfathered plan. 

 

I know Fido currently have some discount on some in market plans now, you can have a look and see if any of them makes sense to you and then you can switch accordingly.

Ya, I thought that too. Because, the promotions/offers do not seem good to me. I think I am gonna end my contract with them. Thanks for your reply.

Agree FIDO doesnot seem to care existing customers any more .Today i feel guilty of being Loyal to FIDO and falling under the so called "FIDO Loyality Program " yesterday i Upgraded my cell phone after spending a whole day and was shocked when i recieve the conifrmation email latter ? There was not a glimps of loyality program and the plan was toatlly changed ? Luckily i print screen the chat and when i call FIDO gain to make correction in my plan there was one word from them SORRY we applologize for the mistake we have done in upgradee based on Loyality progrem but that program is not available for you now that sums up my 2 days of effort and agony .infact i relalize late it not my day today is FIDO day ( boxing week sale ) no option left with me rather than to clear the guilt of being so loyal by moving to other service providers . at least FIDO should keep their commitments , everything is documented still its only appology from them and they DO NOT want to honour their commitment ..

That is sad. I had faced similar situation before when I redeemed my fido dollar via online, however, that didn't work because of their own system problem, I had to spend a good amount of time to clarify everything to them. I was lucky that I had a copy of that process which saved me money.

 

I have already realized that they do not care for their existing customers. I just got calls from their sales department trying to sale some of theirs products (like, fido home phone, tablet, mastercard etc). They just need to increase their sales which I know better. Time to change the carrier soon, unfortunately, Canada does not have good options though.
