We’ve made a few changes to the community today and we want to take a minute to tell you about what’s changed and why. Since our launch on September 15, 2010, we’ve grown as a community, adding new members, welcoming new contributors, and evolving the structure of the boards as we needed to.
Today, we’re happy to be renaming the community to “Fido Community Forums”. Technical conversation will still be the majority of what we discuss but we’re now welcoming “General Care and Support” topics in place of the previous non-technical board. We’ve also brought together the Phones, Smartphones and Mobile Internet boards to reflect the topics that are started on those boards. With the new structure, we hope to make it clear to people where to post questions so they get answers faster.
We’ve also introduced a new banner that celebrates all of your contributions to our Splashing Yellow Contest. If you are wondering who won the contest, please see the contest wrap post.
