I bought my Samsung s7 5 days ago. I woke up this morning to an "unregistered sim card" message instead of my provider. I didn't touch my phone nor changed any setting and my account is protected due to a previous case of fraud. This is very problematic given I need my phone for work. Please help.

That doesn't sound right at all. Did you get a chance to reboot your phone?
And removed and put back in the sim card?
