Unable to access voicemail after plan change

I changed plans and no longer an able to access voice mail. Please advice. Thanks

Hello @Wils19,

 

When you do a plan change it also resets your voicemail so if you had saved voicemail on the old plan then there is noway of getting it back.

I should have voicemail though? It doesn’t work at all. It just says call to voicemail failed

@Wils19 it depends, does your plan have voicemail? You can login to My Account on Fido.ca and you can see your plan details. What is the make and model of your phone? Did you get it from Fido?

Yes my plan says I have voicemail. It’s an iPhone 8 that I got with Fido

@Wils19 so when you press and hold 1 to access your voicemail that's when it says "call to voicemail failed"? It could be that the voicemail was not added correctly.

 

You can call customer service have then them reset it or remove it and add it back and see if it solves your problem.
