Transfer of Responsibility of a grandfathered plan.

Hello,

I am taking over a friend's grandfathered plan as they will be leaving the country.
It is an old standard plan with a data add-on.

I was wondering, if I change the talk and text standard plan to a new in-market plan ($41 standard plan) but keep the data add-on, do I still qualify for Fido's employee discount?

The data add-on is a grandfathered in-market service, it isn't loyalty or retention-based.
