I just got a text message from +1 (204) 494 0285 with the following message:

"Due to accounts updates fido is verifying every account. Verify yours here :drorfi.com"

That is definitely a spam text, you can forward it to Fido so they can try to stop these types of spam. 

All you need to do is forward the spam SMS to 7726 (SPAM). You can do this by pressing and holding on the body of the text and then press the forward button. You will not be charge any fees for doing this.

  That message is most definitely SPAM. Fido will not send you text messages from a 10-digit number. Legitimate messages will only be sent from one of their short codes.

  You can copy and forward the message to 7726 (SPAM) for evaluation and potentially its blocking (see here).
