Terminating plan and unlocking phone - moving

Hi, we're moving and I'd like to pre-terminate my plan and also unlock the phone (Samsung Galaxy S5).  What are the steps in doing this?

If you want to keep your phone numbers you will have to port out your numbers to your new provider and it will automatically cancel your Fido account. If you are in a contract you will be billed for the balance of your contract. 

 

To unlock your phone see here.

 

Fido will charge you $50 to unlock the phone but you can get it done cheaper from a third party that does phone unlocking.
