I'm interested by the $15 for 3GB promotional tablet plan, but the promotional text mentions "when you activate a new tablet with Easy Pay".
I already have a tablet (an LG G Pad II, bought from Fido), so I'm not purchasing another one. Do I understand correctly that I cannot use that promotion without buying another tablet? That would be a deal-breaker...
Solved! Go to Solution.
I believe you're not referring to the same offer. The one you mention is with the purchase of a new tablet, however, @zyx already has one and is only looking to get the plan.
@zyx, you can always switch your plan while available, if you're still interested. Just keep in mind it's a limited time offer and can be removed at any time
Sad indeed. I was willing to shell out $15/month for the convenience, but at $40/month (over 1GB), it's just not worth it, and I can go without.
@KAPABLE-K I don't know yet - I'm trying it out to see if it's worth it. But where did you find that "free tablet" thing? I could not find anything on Best Buy's web site...
That's sad, there was the same promo plan that ended September 30rd and non device purchase was necessary.
I believe alot of people jumped on it with the no device purchase thats why now you need to buy a device which I don't get I though Fido is a service provider first and not a device retailer.
Maybe because some person (don't want to name anyone but...) use this plan in a phone with a VOIP service provider which is way cheaper than the 40$ 2GB BYOD)...
