Suspend my account from abroad

I travel to switzerland for about six months and i'm there already.

I wonder if it's possible to suspend my phone number?

I have searched the commnuinty and find some answers saying there's no such option; however, these answers are back to 2010. Have the fido policy changed ever then?

If not, at least I hope I can remove some add-ons to my phone number, but I'd know how to call the fido service number outside north America.....

The voluntary Temporary Suspension of your service is possible.

 

Basically, now your service can be suspended from 2 to 4 months for $7 per month if you meet the eligibility requirements.

 

I can verify all of that with you.

Hi FidoKenny,

 

I have a similar problem. I am out of the country for 2 months and I would like to suspend my Fido number for that time duration. I was hoping if you could help me out in that regard. I am also out of Canada at the moment so the only way for me is by doing it online.
