Spotify code not working

I have a spotify code but it will not work.  Have asked to have another resent and it does not work.  How do I get the premium code to work

Do you have your Wifi on when you're trying to set up your Spotify Premium account? If you're connected to Wifi we won't be able to recognize the code. 

Could you turn off your Wifi connection and give it another go?
