Something is weird with payment

Hi, I just got a new phone plan (99 dollars for new lg g5 and $55 per month plan with -$5 promotion for 2 years) on September 9.

 

Apparently, I had already paid for machine and protection plan in the store.

 

The store salesperson told me that all I need to pay online after registering is 50 cad + 25 activation fee.

 

I had registered and checked my account's balance, which was $0 until today.

 

When I logged in today and checked today (September 13), the balance increased to over 93 dollars. 

 

Of course, I just paid but I just want to know why the price increased more than 20 dollars.

 

I feel like I am being scammed a little. If this only applies on the first month, I would not complain as much but I am just worried if similar thing occur again for another 2 years.

Also, does fido plan include the tax?

Did you check your invoice details to see exactly what you were billed for? I suggest you go over your invoice details then if you see any discrepancy you can contact Fido.

 

Also the taxes is not included in the plans you will have to pay taxes on everything.
