I've heard so much lately about "security messages for the lock screen" on android . (In case cell gets into the wrong hands , God forbid.) How do you set it up? is it a good idea? To have others find / email you to return the cell back to owner? Your thoughts and advise please. Thanks.

Sure its a good idea to have an email address or a secondary number that someone can call if they find your phone. Setup depends on the phone if its android a video showing you how can be viewed here.
1.Go to Setting
2.Go to My Device tab
3.Tap on Lock Screen
4.Find “Lock Screen widgets” under the Swipe options
5.Tap on “Clock or Personal message” and make sure “Personal message” is marked
6.Go Back, and tap on “Edit personal message” and start writing or modifying your personal message
7. To Show or Hide Date and Time, Mark or Unmark them
8, Change the Font, Size and Color as well
I'm not an iPhone user but fom what I know apple do not have that option.
