I recently opened a Roger's support chat to talk about my internet and cable bill. However, when I provided the account number to the representative she came back with my Fido bill. I am outraged by this.
Is this normal?
Am I overreacting?
Please let me know the protocol here...
If you have services with both companies, we have access to some common details. It's normal that they have access to your Fido information, however it's not usual that they provide you that information if you provided a Rogers account number. I'm thinking that the rep got mixed up about the account he was viewing (they are all linked).
I'll send you a PM right now, I'd like to follow up on the situation to make sure this doesn't happen in the future!
