Is it possible to reverse number porting? Just got off an online Fido chat and unfortunately the customer service rep I dealt with was completely incompetent. Instead of porting the number I requested to a new line, he replaced an existing number I wanted to keep.

If the port already happened then it can't be reversed, if it did not happened as yet there might be a chance to have it canceled. I suggest you contact Fido again ASAP to see if it's possible to have it canceled.
Unfortunately the porting process was completed while I was chating with the Fido representative. He only realized what he had done afterwards. Waiting to call into fido as soon as the call centre opens. What a hassle this turned out to be.
