Help! I bought a Samsung S7 in March and I've been realizing over the past while that it will often send multiple identical texts or I will receive multiple identical texts. At first I thought it was just the bad reception at my work place but I don't think its that anymore. Can anyone please help with this?
@renzilla what I found for this problem is the device does not properly signal the network that it has received the initial message, so the network sends your device the same message multiple times. If you are already on the latest update and disabling the LTE does not fix the problem then the only other solution is to perform a factory reset.
Just use the Samsung Smart Switch software to perform a backup you can also backup to Google but the software will do more like save your text and other stuff.
