When I checked my balance this month it says that $25 was deducted because of the "refer a friend" program, which I have no memory of. I called Fido and they told me the first name of the person refered and I'm pretty sure it's not somebody I know of.
I was told to pay the reduced amount of payment. However I'm still wondering whether there are other consequences? And why would something like this happen? (I thought you'd need a code to be refered)
Hi @ANQI & welcome to the Community!
When you refer a friend or someone refers you, the credit is applied on the first or second bill following the first 90 days of service. You don't remember referring anyone or being referred?
In terms of ''consequences'', there are none! You simply get a $25 credit on your bill, as does the person who referred/got referred.
Cheers!
