Prepaid users cant access my account app?

I have a sony xperia pro and im a prepaid user. Whenever i try to access my account app to check my account, it says that prepaid customers cannot access the app and tells me to add a data addon. I was able to use it on my old phone but why wont it work on my new phone?

Hey everyone!

 

I fell upon this thread and noticed the info is outdated. 

 

While Prepaid customers don't have access to the My Account app, they do have access to a variety of refill methods. Check them out here

Hey TeaTime!

The My Account application can only be accessed by monthly customers. Prepaid customers may still access My Account on their phones, but only via their browser at http://fido.mobi (WiFi has to be off, it's free of charge on our network).
