I have 3 lines with Fido, all under the same account. I will be porting out my daughter's number to a Pre-Paid plan with Public Mobile, mostly for accountability.
My question is, will porting one number over cancel my entire account with Fido? I've heard this is what happens.

If you have multiple lines under one account and you port out only one number it will not cancel the entire account it will only cancel that specific line the number is attached to.
If you only had one line then it will close the account but in your case it will not.

Thanks, but no there isn't. I just want to Port the one line out, which belongs to my daughter so she can be more accountable for her actions and her own bill.
