My contract ends on January 17, 2017 but I changed my plan from a smart plan to a $40 data, talk, and text plan on January 6. The site says the changes will be effective at the beginning of the next billing cycle, which would be when I am off contract, but the email I received says the changes are effective as of January 6. Will I be charged for early termination?

Plan changes done on Fido.ca is done immediately. If there was a fee for changing your plan, it will show on the website. If you didn't see any, it means there was no fees. Hope this clarifies everything.
