Phone number not transfered

It's been 3 hours since I transfered a phone number from Bell to Fido but I still have my temporary Fido number and my Bell SIM is now deactivated. Is this normal? Thanks

After about 8 hours, the number was ported. However, calling with the ported number was impossible, only text messaging. I had to call the technical support again so they could fix that.

been around 4 hours now. old service disconnected also. cant get a hold of anyone to give answers
