So I'm trying to reserve an iPhone5, but the dropdown menu only had the 16GB models. Did the 64GB (and 32GB) versions sell out?
And I thought the reservation system wasn't opening until 6AM -- I assumed it was Eastern time, but I seem to be able to acccess the system at 5:50AM EST (I'm in Vancouver).
Can anybody shed some light on this?
So how is that going to work??? Isnt the Queue specific for each model of phone?
Should I be reserving a 16gb now so whenever your system is updated I can switch to the 64gb? This system seems really flawed... is anyone thinking over at fido???
Oops, somebody majorly botched that up! I went to the site once I heard you could reserve, saw only the 16GB model (less than my old 3GS 32GB!), and almost panicked! Glad I Googled and found this thread. And gald to hear the 32GB and 64GB are infact available (soon) too. I keep checking the reservation system to reserve the i5 64GB.
Just talked to support chat too, and they say I can keep my existing plan with per second billing, and 6GB data. Awesome!
And if that is the case... how is that fair? I was up at 3am PST to reserve my iphone 5 64gb. But there was none. So why should those who reserved a 16gb be able to switch to a 64gb and be ahead of me in the queue? That's isnt right.
