Notes On NOKIA C6-00

In this Topic I Will Post Some Notes On:

Nokia C6-00

1) Barcode Reader 1D & 2D APP

Scanlife & Neoreader at the Moment DO NOT support Nokia C6-00

Scanlife Does NOT List Nokia C6-00 & Neoreader Auto-Detect Feature Told Me that the C6-00 is NOT SUPPORTED (Their Website list STATES the OPPOSITE)

(I-nigma) i-nigma DOES UPPORT Nokia C6-00

BUT it is NOT Listed (They have to update their list)

HOWEVER on the Page of Supported Hadsets

It ALSO gives the Web Address of their Auto-Detect site for Mobile Phones Recognised My C6-00 and gave me a link to start Download. :womanvery-happy:

Turned my phone three since Download & Install NO Problems

4) Placing a call with the keyboard out!

If you place a call with the with the keyboard extended out the Loudspeaker activates, I made this mistake.  So if your going to place a call this way keep the phone away from your EAR & press the handset option on the touch screen and slide the keyboard in, or make sure you have a headset for the C6-00 or use the earbuds that come with the C6-00 if you are going to place calls this way.

6)  Using Keyboard to Sign On

You ARE NOT limited to using the touchscreen to enter the SIM Card PIN Code when you power up the C6-00, the keyboard CAN be used for this purpose as well; the 1st row of keys Q – P Numeric Values will be ACTIVE 0 – 9 you Do Not have to use the FN (Function) Key to select & enter your SIM Card PIN Code once you enter your PIN hit/press the Return Key.  HOWEVER the keypad image will not orientate horizontally/landscape it will stay vertical/portrait.
