I just had a chat with Fido online and was offered a counter to switching to Wind (wife wants to stream music and our current plan doesn't offer enough bandwidth). Deal was ok, as it was more data (but not any cheaper) and then I was told (good thing I asked) that the second line discount would be removed!?
How does that make any sense in customer retention into bringing on added business?
I understand that for a SINGLE line, but multi-line discounts should NOT be removed. You shouldn't treat 2 line users the same as 1 line users or there is NO incentive to add a service......
Fido is not saying hey - you need 2 lines to get X..PROMO or RETENTION deal....they're saying we don't want your added business!

The 10% 2nd line discount is simply not compatible with all plans.
I can take a look at what was offered to you to confirm all of that.
