My bill shows $3.50 in sms and mms charges. I did not send anything on the tablet data plan. I would like a credit or proof that somehow I sent texts
Hi there @dennisgmiller
Thanks for reaching out to the Fido Community.
It's indeed possible to send texts, or picture/video messages from a tablet.
By doing a quick search on google, here are the simple steps to do so:
1- Find "Gallery". Click the menu icon, then click Gallery.
2- Find picture or video clip you want to send. Go to the right folder.
3- Select method of sending. Click the "share" icon.
4- Via email. Tap Email...
5- Via Gmail. Tap Gmail...
6- Via MMS. Tap Messaging...
Charges wouldn't apply for picture/video messaging if none were sent from the device. You can see the details listed on the invoice directly.
To view or print your detailed online bill:
- Log into MyAccout
- Click on "Billing & Payments"
- Select the month you'd like to see in the drop-down list
- Scroll down & click on "Save this bill (PDF)"
Sure it shows 12 messages sent but it does not show to whom or where and my device shows oinly 3 messages sent via my other provider not via fido. Detail of how many messages but not where or whom is not really detail.
Ok, discussed elsewhere and found the texts were sent but none of the numbers after a test today, received them so the charges have been removed and voice and text have been setup to be blocked! Great service.
