LTE Bands

Hi,

I'm getting a new phone and it supports the following networks:

Network

2G/3G/4G LTE
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
CDMA: Band Class: 0/1/10
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
LTE: Bands: 1/2/4/5/17/19/25/26/41

Will it work with Fido LTE?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Re: LTE Bands

Hey everyone!

I just saw this thread and I thought I'd update this in case anyone else comes across this and had a similar inquiry. Smiley

To access LTE network, the phone must be compatible with one or more of the following:

  • 700 MHz on Band 17;
  • 1700/2100 MHz on Band 4;
  • 2600 MHz on Band 7.

Hope this helps!

Re: LTE Bands

Hey trulygrate,

Fido uses GSM, UMTS, HSPA and HSPA+ at 850 MHz and 1900 MHz and LTE at 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz.

Re: LTE Bands

Hi kcjzj007,

Those are the correct LTE frequencies used by Fido.

Re: LTE Bands

If the device only support 2600MHz, can it use Fido"s LTE?

Re: LTE Bands

Looking at FIDO's iphone 5 phone page spec, LTE is only on 750 and 1700MHZ.  If FIDO only supports LTE at 2100/2600, then FIDO is not supporting LTD on its own iPHone 5.

Here is the FIDO page about the iphoen 5.

Thank you
