LG G5 sending the same message multiple times

I got the LG G5 about a month ago after leaving the iPhone.
Since I got my phone, at first there were issues where people were texting me, but I was not getting it cause they were not clicking "send as text" and it kept wanting to send it through like an IMessage.

Now that THAT has been figured out, I am getting complaints from my friend that my phone keeps sending the same message multiple times.
I tried talking to someone at Fido and he was stumped.

Anyone has any ideas on what to do?

@Bea15051 Does this happen with everyone your text or just a specific set of people, I know people with Samsung phones have been getting duplicated text messages I have even experience that with my Nexus 6p. The problem might not be your phone it could be the other party or the network.

Try sending yourself a couple of text message and see if you can duplicate the problem.

The one party is the only one that has said anything.
I have a LG G5.. he has the Iphone 5S

@Bea15051 Because its only one person I think we can safely say the problem is not with your phone, it just could be the other party.
