@HyunjunAhn welcome to the community, If you got your phone from Fido and it has been more than 90 days and your account is in good standing you can request the unlock code form Fido. There is a $50 fee for the code, full details here.
You can contact Fido by dialing *611 from your Fido phone or you can message them on Facebook or Twitter for a faster response. Alternatively a moderator here in the community can PM you to get it done.
Also you should not post your phone number on any public forum.
Hello HyunjunAhn,
Welcome to the community!
Providing you meet the requirements, you are certainly welcome to unlock your device. However, you should be aware that your phone may not have the necessary bands or frequencies to work properly in South Korea.
Taken from here.
It appears none of the providers operate a GSM (2G) network.
While LG U+ uses a LTE band/frequency compatible with Fido/Rogers, their 3G network is CDMA-based and is not compatible. You would therefore not be able to make/receive voice calls or possibly send/receive SMS/MMS either on their networks.
None of the other bands/frequencies are compatible with Fido/Rogers. You might consider verifying your device is compatible with the networks in South Korea before unlocking your phone to specifically use over there.
Hope this helps
Cheers
