I've received the email about free vice for us fido subscribers the Viceland.com site works. But I can't seem to log into the vice app with fido.
When I try to watch a locked video it says "we can't show this here.i f you have cable download the viceland app to watch full episodes"
Then it give me a two options
1. I have cable take me to viceland. Takes you to google play store for an app not available in Canada.
2. Just watch freebies
I'm not sure what to do can anyone help?

Can you check in your phone settings if the language is set to American EN? If so, can you switch it to Canadian EN and try again?
Thanks.
I'm having the same issue with the iOS app using an unlocked iPhone 6. Am able to successfully watch the locked content after Fido authentication from a browser on my Mac.
@FidoFaiza wrote:Hi @kcolero,
Just to make sure, are you getting the same error message as the OP?
Thanks and yes am receiving the same error. Either option doesn't allow me to Fido authenticate.
@kcolero, do you get this message after you click on the locked episode? Do you get to select Fido as your provider or not even?
Also, what kind of phone are you using?

Yes to seeing the message after clicking on a locked episode in the app. Selecting "Yes, I've got cable. Take me to Viceland" redirects to the App Store with an error of "Item not available" stating the app is in the U.S. and not the Canadian store. No option that I see to select Fido or any other provider. Unlocked iPhone 6.
Can you go on Vice app then go to Explore > Viceland > click on the locked episode and > Sign in?
Let me know how that turns out.
Unfortunately the result is the same.
@FidoClaudia wrote:What country/region do you have selected on your iTunes store, @kcolero?
Canadian iTunes store.
@FidoChristina wrote:Thanks for waiting on me, everyone
Are you trying this on wi-fi or data?
Also, can you send us screenshots of the steps you take to listen to the locked content up until when the error message comes ups?
Launch iOS app on unlocked iPhone 6. Click Explore
Select Viceland
Select noisey
Select locked episode Seoul with BIGBANG
Select "Yes, I've got cable..."
Same result on wi-fi & cellular
Hey @kcolero
Before you select VICELAND, can you click on Account on the bottom right. There you should have the option to sign in.
Have you tried this?

Unfortunately doesn't appear to be an option to sign in.

From the appearance of all these posts, Fido or Canadian subscribers dont seem to be allowed.
Nevermind... I just tried again, its working thanks
Thanks @FidoMaria. My issue with the iOS app appears to be resolved now with both the language and region set to Canada.

Just to make sure, are you now able to access the app?
Yes I am, thanks.
