International student and I've been with Fido for a couple of months and been planning on downgrading my plan because I don't use that much data. Tried to go to a local store to try and downgrade only to have to endure the attitude of the worker there who tells me he can't use any of my legal identification cards and that I need a Canadian card. Being an international student, I do not have one yet and the attitude of the worker made me leave straight away after he said I could call customer service.
So I call costumer service and it could not have been more unhelpful asking me questions to which it would prove it would be me trying to access my account and downgrade but ends up saying that he can't help me and that I should go to a local store to fix that.
I guess being an international student causes many disadvantages for us, I hate this customer service.
