This is my go to dish when I am in a time crunch and dont have time to cook but don't want to show up to the party empty handed. It is definitely a crowd pleasure and no crumb is left behind. I have also substituted the ham for bacon and both ways taste great.
Here it is fresh out of the over. Turned out perfect. Best if you serve warm.
1 can Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers Biscuits
2 tablespoons milk
3/4 cup diced ham
1/4 cup green onion ; thinly sliced
3/4 cup cheddar cheese ; shredded
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, beat egg and milk with a wire whisk until smooth.
Seperate dough into individual biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Gently stir biscuit pieces into egg mixture to coat evenly. Fold in ham, cheese, and onions. Spoon mixture into prepared dish, arrange biscuit pieces in a single layer.
Bake at 350 degrees for 23-25 minutes or until golden brown. Now i cut them into squares bit you can either cut into squares or just pull apart and serve.
